It’s back to school time and while we’re still grasping onto the last few days of summer. We know that in reality, we’ve got to start focusing on what Fall is going to bring us! Some of our favorite memories about back to school season are the opportunities we had to enter a new year with a totally new look and style. Trips to the mall brought new fall colors and clothes choices that we were so excited to show off. Another fun part was figuring out what hairstyle we wanted to enter our school year with. Early mornings and hurried mornings to either catch the bus or because we hit snooze too many times required that hair be one of the easiest parts about getting ready.

Because of that, we’ve put together an easy back to school hairstyle that you can easily do on your own. It’s a simple updo that will help you look fashionable and like you spent all morning on it. In reality, once you get this simple twist down, you’ll be able to have it ready in five minutes flat.

If you want other ideas on how to up your updo game, reach out to us and let us know. We’re always willing to set up appointments to help you learn the best styles for yourself. Remember, for those first day fresh colors and cuts your appointments booked soon so we can help you greet the new year feeling your best!

"I have been wanting to go for a long time but was nervous about color. I couldn't have been more pleased! Amy seemed to know exactly what I wanted. She really examined my hair and mixed and painted with an artist eye! True custom color and I've gotten a lot of compliments. I live in Bangor so it's a drive, but so worth it! The salon is bright and beautiful with a lot of natural light so there are not color surprises when you get home."
